Short of silly porn rarely does a live media feed stop me, and my nosy co-workers in our tracks.

But thus it was with today's space walk to put up solar panels on the ISS on
NASA TV's. Amazing 1st person POV helmet cam live feeds of puffy white gloved hands in nests of insulated wires. We're talking real space age drill guns here. My friend wired his laptop up to his TV and emailed me that he was floored when an astronaut took a fast hand-over-hand trip along the shuttle using handholds. I mean really outstanding and frankly almost unbelievable to watch and take seriously. Witht the slightly pixelated feed it looked like Quake sometimes. And this is just the beginning...

SpaceHab is putting a Space Media module up in a year or so, full Net and multimedia connectivity.

Space Media baby! My two favorite things married at last.
